It is our belief that the family is the most basic social unit of community life, and is the predominate factor in establishing the character and personality of individual lives. We are dedicated to providing a broad spectrum of quality confidential services, both preventive and corrective. We support our local communities by assisting in the maintenance and personal continuity of the home.

Agency
The Family Service of Marion and Harrison Counties, Inc. a private (501c3) non-profit organization is one of the oldest providers of social services to the community. We have offered counseling services since 1912 and in-home health care since 1973. Our current organization stems from the merging of several distinct agencies of the two counties in 1960. We are governed by a nine (9) member board of directors consisting of volunteers from both Marion and Harrison counties.
